I would like to begin by extending to all of you my sincere gratitude for your ongoing support to the Relo Group.
The history of the Relo Group goes back to 1984, when we started Japan's first relocation house rental management service for transferees.
At that time, we were witnessing the dawn of an era in which "business transcends borders" and "the world is the market." Japanese companies had begun to expand overseas at an incredible pace.
Despite this trend, no system was in place to support the lives of people transferred overseas. "Someone needs to create the system." This strong belief is what drove me to take action.
In the more than 30 years since I founded this company, we have started a number of new businesses, such as the fringe benefit outsourcing service, and succeeded in listing on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
However, I realize that we are still halfway to the great dream of "creating an industry of comprehensive lifestyle support services centered on the relocation business" that the Relo Group is striving to accomplish.
Our definition of a relocation business is "infrastructure that supports Japanese companies and employees working not only in Japan but across the globe with their everyday life and leisure time pursuits."
The services we currently provide at the Relo Group constitute only a part of "relocation business" in our definition of the word. Our mission is to create a "helpful system" that solves the problems people face and realizes the true meaning of "relocation business."
The Relo Group will keep on working to achieve our great dream of "creating an industry of comprehensive lifestyle support services expanded globally." We look forward to your continued support and understanding.
